van de Graaff accessories Choose from our range of van de Graaff generator accessories and spares. Standard parts are available for our VG-series generators including motors, pulleys, belts, domes and discharge spheres. A selection of parts are shown below. 	Earthing spheres We can supply earthing spheres in a variety of sizes, and spheres mounted on aluminium poles with 4mm sockets for use with van de Graaff generators. Standard spares for the VG1 and VG2 (100mm diameter) and the VG3 (300mm diamater) are available.
	Rollers and pulleys We can supply spare rollers and pulleys for all SEIDAM generators as well as custom sizes to order. Common materials are nylon, acrylic, polythene and aluminium. Standard bottom pulleys (tapered for belt stability) for the VG1 and VG2 measure 85mm by 25mm maximum diameter while for the VG3 the pulley measures 150mm by 50mm maximum diameter. The upper roller (cylindrical) measure 85mm by 25mm for VG1 and VG2 and 150mm by 50mm for VG3. Please call for details.
	Collecting domes Spun aluminium collecting domes from our VG series van de Graaffs are available separately. Each has a well-defined method of mounting that could easily be integrated into your own design should that you intention. Domes are 18cm, 25cm and 50cm for VG1, VG2 and VG3 respectively.
	Belts and source rubber A range of rubber and belt options are available from SEIDAM. Two belt materials are available: black rubber mix and white silicone rubber, both with exceptionally high static charging efficiencies but at very different points on the tribo-electric series. If ordering for SEIDAM generators, standard pre-made belts of the black rubber are available. We can also make belts to a specific dimensions from either of the above materials - call for details.
	Pie tray repeller Suitable for use with larger van de Graaff generators, this assembly allows electrostatic repulsion of a set of pie trays! Kit includes colour demo card, flat support tray (threaded for the SEIDAM VG3 generator) and a set of aluminium pie trays.
	Other accessories We make a range of accessories for van de graaff generators, designed to illustrate concepts such as chaotic motion, the electric wind, electrostatic forces and Brownian motion. All demos come with colour demo cards and we can offer special discounts if purchasing accessories along with a SEIDAM VG-series generator.
	Flight cases Flight cases are available for the VG range of van de Graaff generators. One-part designs exist for the VG1 and VG2 generators while the VG3 generator has three separate cases for the collecting dome, base unit + accessories and the support stalk. The cases are customisable at time or ordering in terms of panel material and flight grade. Standard options are suitcase-style case for VG1, full-flight aluminium faced case for VG2 and astroboard lightweight case triplet for VG3.
